New build advice please

I would definitely choose the GPU that Excalabur picked over that Strix. Much cheaper and the performance difference is next to 0 in gaming. The Strix is not worth it's price tag.
 
When it comes to buying AMD cards I always buy the Sapphire cards and I have never had an issue with any I have bought
 
ok seems like I will have to try and grab a nitro when they come back in stock!

the ram etc should work ok with that motherboard though?

Oh yeah, cashback. When the card arrives you send MSI a copy of the receipt and the barcode from the box and they send you a cheque. That's if it's the same as the USA (pretty sure it is). They make you cut the barcode off the box to stop people returning them.
 
lol yeh Brother seems to want a black and white build think I'm doing ok so far with the parts I've found!.

just managed to save about 20 quid on the h100i V2 ordered from amazon so might will try and order the other bits and see how much budget is left for a GPU!

Try to push to the 1070. It's in a totally different class tbh.

It's the same yes
But MSI never honor a rebate. I've sent like 4 and never get anything back. Don't ever count on rebates. It's a false discount.

Hmm that's a bit shady. I doubt they would get away with not paying them here because of our trading laws. Thanks to the EU they are pretty tight.
