so im stuck between two options for my top radiator in my define s, the alphacool st30 280 mm and the EK-CoolStream PE 360. i will have an EK-CoolStream CE 280in the front and a third 140mm fan also mounted on the front. im just cooling a single gpu and cpu (possible sli further down the road)...
i'm using an ASUS ROG maximus VII HERO motherboard and will be using a noctua NH-D15 to cool the CPU. if i mount the cooler so it exhausts towards the top of the case (with both fans installed) will i be able to mount a graphics card in the top red pci-e 16x slot or will i have to use a lower slot?
the fan side side panel of my wont close fully, the bottom of it slides up fully but the top wont reach the thumb screw hole. is there any way to fix this or should i just live with it?
so in my current build im planning on using 3 drives:
850 Pro 128GB for OS and high use programs
850 EVO 250GB for games
Seagate 2TB SSHD for general storage
is this a good layout or should i simplify and get a 500GB SSD for to the the job of the two ?
if you have more 1 more fan on intake than exhaust and the exhausts are AF fans while the intakes are SP fans (combined cfm of intakes less than exhaust but SP of intake much greater than exhaust) would it still be positive case pressure based off of static pressure or would it be negative...
in my current build im working with a fractal design define S so i have a lot of options when it comes to radiators. i was wondering what would be the most effective radiator to mount in the top with the limitation that anything larger than 360mm would have to be thin.
so im thinking about building an amd based workstation with the firepro gpu's and i need some suggestions on the right amd cpu/apu to use with them to get the most power without sacrificing too much bang for buck.
so im looking to upgrade to a mechanical keyboard with my new build and I can't decide between getting the k70 RGB red switch and the Ducky shine 4 red switch (when they come out of course). I'm worried that the corsair might maintain the led lifespan problems of the current models, what do?
