As you may have noticed, you will have a blue dot (or a number of blue dots) below your username in every message you post that look like this:

These represent your 'Reputation'. Every time you help somebody and they want to show their appreciation, they can leave you a 'Rep Point' by clicking on this button at the bottom of your post:

We encourage everybody to do this, so that members that put a lot of time into helping others will get recognition of this. We may also be putting up cash (or other) prizes for people who achieve certaiin levels of reputation.

However, please do not 'rep' yourself - we will notice, and you may be banned from the forums.
