X-Fi Audio - Missing Treble/Bass

hey all

just got a new pci-e x-fi audio - and for the most part - tis a very good card for the money. I know this card is a stripped down x-fi at worst and an improved audigy 2 at best, so i expected a less full feature set - HOWEVER.....there seems to be no option at all to adjust the bass and treble sliders either within the software or within windows mixer - options just arent there. Does anyone know how this can be worked around? id hate to return the card for so simple a thing, but using the EQ to compensate is just a pain.

Cheers all

yeah all creative software is installed, where there should be a treble and bass control on other x-fi models- it isnt there, as far as i can tell this is a "feature" of the card, so im hopin theres a hack or workaround out there

That's really weird! I had the same card and could adjust bass and treble settings in both the console and windows mixer. Are you running the latest drivers or the stock ones straight off the installation disk?
