Indeed they are sir, thousands of baby spiders.

If you see a small ball of silk tucked away somewhere that is where all the eggs are laid.

When they hatch out you end up with something like this, lots of the little fella's creepy crawling around.

That plant was in my house ...

I took it out doors and now im feeling rather creeped out ...

Wonder if its the weather causing this.

p.s how do i kill them. That's my bean plant........

Probably best just hosing them of maybe? Anything else would probably damage the plant.

There does seem to be a lot of bugs around this year. We had a MASSIVE flying ant nest in our garden. Couldn't see the grass for thousands of the buggers swarming around.

Two kettles of boiling water and some ant powder soon put an end to that though....muahahah

Poor little bean plant :( Id do what Rasta said, just hose them off outside or somthing. Never been a big fan of using the sprays and stuff you can get to kill bugs

They'll be back... We had a nest under our garden a few years back and no matter what we tried, they kept coming back.

We ended up putting caustic soda under the paving slabs to try and kill them. That did the job for a couple of years.

I use a weak mixture of washing up liquid in a bottle sprayer on my roses and raspberry plants - works a treat on aphids and other creepy crawlies. ( done it again, street cred out the window! )
