Wow that's major if correct. Glad I can't afford to be staying in hotels- camping cash in-hand FTW!! All they got is my mate's number plate haha

We stayed in a best western in paris earlier this year. It seems that data losses are become a fact of everyday life, it is disgraceful.

I was staying in a few Best Western Hotels a year or two ago with the company I worked for.

Not heard of this until now  so hopefully none of our details were stolen.

Um does this effect anybody in the US that stayed with them without using their online functions? Cause in november and december we used them about 6 times cause we had a few shows to do in another state. We used credit card at the desk.

The report said that the data was stolen from the online booking system, so I doubt you have anything to worry about but if you are worried, maybe it would be worthwhile contacting them? I'm sure you wouldn't be the first after reading this report.

Did you guys even bother investigating this fully?

Edit: the first link is for the webpage 'market watch' (all one word) unfortunately even though it's a hyperlink the swear filter is kicking in. Bad show guys, get it fixed :p
