I canceled my preorder, i'll wait till it's DX11 before I buy it, plus with the money I save I can finally get a D14.

I don't think i'm going to bother with Crysis 2 either, from the minute i heard all the console dweebs bickering about it i knew the game was doomed. CONSOLES KILL.

Crysis 2 will be superior to the console version with DX10 and DX11 but not strait away and will only be available via a patch later on, I'll just wait untill you can buy it with DX10 and DX11 included.

honestly i do not believe that crysis 2 on PS3 will be the best looking PS3 title. comparing it to games like Killzone 2/3 Uncharted 2/3 etc. also the fact that its also on 360 means its dumbed down a bit.

360<PS3< PC in terms of visuals for crysis 2.

I dont want to start a flame war here but i think devs that make amazing looking games should stop developing for the 360 all together if they are going to make cross platform games. i think the 360 overall is the one that is dragging everything down. if they just stick with PS3 and PC i bet the game would look a hell of a lot better. but that suggestion is only reserved for the devs who WANT to do some sort of multi plat.

Crytek should have just stuck to PC. its also stupid that they would put a sequel on another platform that some of the people of that platform may have not have played the first one.

Agreed. The 360 sucks, PS3 has twice the bandwidth and PS3 slim is overclocked to 4Ghz as opposed to standard PS3 and the 360's 3.2Ghz. It's high time microsoft update their hardware but there's good reason why they haven't: quite simply, 90% of 360 owners are fanboy noobs who know nothing of technology, and you could put any image before their eyes to compare, they will still blabber on how the 360 is better. All microsoft have to do is feed them '360 is the best' nonsense via inside xbox and other corperate means and they believe it. Meaning less production costs as the hardware is cheaper (though ofc crappier) and more profit for directors & console retailers.

All these people care about is money at the end of the day, they don't give a monkeys how dissapointed you are with their game, unless ofcourse you don't buy it, and if enough others boycott it, then they are brought to their knees and have no choice but to listen to their more educated customers. But i doubt that'll happen knowing how many fanboy derps will come bounding over and buy this underwhelming creation purely to boast 'xbosh is da beshtesht' or 'ps3 pwns *snort*'

Yeah well xbox is gonna get a upgrade rumours suggest. The xbox 720 or summin its spossed to be "ahem" as good as pc graphics "ahem". Tho i seriously doubt that it would be really good if it were true. Pair amazing graphics with the kinect and microsoft gets a win-win situatio.

i dont think its "console kids," i think its 360 fanboys. when the PS3 first came out it was WELL worth the money. i mean look at what you are getting. a VERY high end B-RAY player which would costs around $300 that is also 3D, built in wifi (also in the 360 now), blue-tooth, and a VERY nice gaming console. when i dropped $600 on mine it was well worth the money. although it is not uncommon for me to drop loads of money on high end hardware, my PC is around $1300. 360 fanboys are stuck on the fact that they wont drop $600 on a "GAMING MACHINE" when it was SOOOO much more. not to mention the 360 lacks exclusives like crazy. i use my PS3 as a Bray player, and to play: MGS4 (one of the greatest games ever made

), Little big planet (i dont care if its childish it is FUN), MAG (256 FPS, need i say more), Killzone 2, resistance 2, gran turismo 5, Uncharted series, demons souls.

from the get go 360 was failure, not only can it NOT do 1080p it had no HD media format, and if you wanted it it was a $300 add on and was a failed HD-DVD format. consoles are no longer consoles today, they are more of a media hub. and what is a media hub without an HD media format such as bray.

Also to the reply about the xbox 720. remember microsoft said they wanted to keep up with sony in a 10 year plan like sony did with the PS2. they still have 5 more years. 360 potential has been maxed out from gears of war 2 (said by the creator of gears of war). Devs for the PS3, at least to my knowlage other than crytek have not said that this will MAX the PS3 out. and even then i dont think of all companies "crytek" is going to do that. its not that they are stupid and dont know how, its just that there are companies on the PS3 who have been developing longer and have WAYYY more experience with it. is it possible, sure it is, is it plausible, i dont think so.

Many a time have i tryed explaining to 360 fanboys that their console stretches 720p across their 1080p display, it is not native resoloution. Annoying friggin arrrgghh hate the kids
