I am going to be starting another build just to see how high of a overclock i can get, but i cant decide which processor to go with :S They are both the same price, just cant figure out which one would get better oc performance...

805 will OC beter as thats just how intel rollls

Especially with a new 965 board vs the old 945/955 that were around in the 8** series times. I would suggest though, dropping a bit more for a 920/930.

this computer will only be in my hands for a week tops. My sister wants vista, and i simply refuse to spend 100$ on a operating system and put it on a celeron d (Will be getting yelled at for it running slow). But I will just save up and try and get a slightly better one i guess, also, conroes are still to expensive for my liking, this is going to be a budget computer 1gb ram and a cheapy 256 card for aero. conroe really isnt needed for internet browsing in my opinion...anyways thanks for the help.

Id go for the 805 and oc the nuts off it. altho the 915 is practicly the same price, same stock clock speed but 65nm iirc.

Yup, i`d go with the lower tech node. The 805 loved MHz, but also loved degrees C
