Which LCD out of these three?

It's the last monitor thread I post, promise

Narrowed my monitor search down to three, all of which are 23" 1920x1200 native res, 16ms response time. I think they all use the same LG panel and are roughly the same price.

I konw the Sony is very good for gaming from reviews I've seen but it is the bulkiest monitor out of the three.

The HP is the most versatile in controls and whatknot, it's also pretty slim and looks good and from user reviews is good for gaming although user reviews are often a little biased.

The apple looks the best IMO but is less versatile function wise - no potrait and limited OSD options unless paired with an apple. I also haven't seen any reviews about gaming with the apple.

Thats what my next move will be on the monitor front.... LCD and widescreen.

What sort of prices are these things??

I think you should go for the Sony.

1) If you ever sell it (when you buy the 42" one) its a monitor that will appeal to more people becuase of its name.

2) Looks great. Even if it is bulky... its still small compared to my Iiyama 19" CRT.

3) Those thin borders are simply stunning!

Well any really! They are all nice and totally out of my league. If they all use the same display then they should all perform similarly so go with the one you prefer the look of, or the thinnest depending on your situtaion.

BTW OT. Looks like you have one AMAZING rig there, hows she perform?

I'm having the feeling people are saying sony because it is the bigger pic Should of done them at the same res.

I'm still in the process of building my rig but will be sure to let people know once it's done
