Which ips monitor is best for me don't lot think

I just bought the 27" ASUS PB278Q after putting a poll up on which monitor I should buy. it's the best monitor i've ever seen but it really depends on your budget as it cost me £539 from overclockers UK

Sorry to semi-hijack. But 23" vs 24" I don't think you're going to notice the difference between them especially with that Acer H236HL which has "no" bezel. I don't own one yet personally but im thinking going to buy it when the funds are available.
There are also LG ones and Iiyama (or something like that) ones.

I agree with this. You will not notice a difference IMO.

Do you happen to own an Acer H236HL personally?
-What's it like?
-Do you game at all?
---How's the input lag?
-Does it have any annoying traits like flashing power button when it's on stand by?

I do not own one personally but i am planning on getting one. BUT honestly for gaming you can't notice a input lag. Input lag can only be shown through software that can calculate it unless it's just so bad you instantly know it's input lag. At 5ms response time you again can't notice it and it's the fastest an IPS monitor can go without color degradation. ALMOST all IPS panels are from LG so they are essentially the exact same.

I read a few reviews from people who have bought it and they say the buttons stick out at the bottom of the panel and are pushed in to go through the menus. They can't really complain on this and i don't see how you could.

Also note the H236HL is a glossy glass panel. SO you do get better color reproduction but at the expense of glares. People have said it is not too bad unless you live in a very bright room.
