would be nice, but I'm going for "better than what I had" & "best bang for the buck". I realize money is no object to most of the people around this site, but it is for me ;)

Well evgay won't bring you that but it is the cheapest card  I would say save up and spend $369 on the BFG

I wouldn't to be honest. The warranty isn't worth it as they SAY that if you ever OC then its invalid.

I'd get XFX or just any card :)

Just laaaak this:

I dunno bout XFX... I've heard some mad horror stories about their cards randomly dieing. But they do carry a helluva warranty.

I have had some scares with my XFX, wicked card and looks good, but when you don't heavily overclock it and it starts to display nasty artifacts in Windows at stock speeds, you tend to shit your pants biblical style

ps - Frag, as per your quote... don't OC'ing your card with the software still void that huge warranty?? I thought that it was a marketing scam to make you buy it thinking 'if it dies next year, I can get it replaced', then of course the second you clock it, you may as well wipe your arse with the warranty paper!

I haven't actually ready the whole page of gumph with the Nvidia OC utility, but I was under the impression you did void it, cos you can still fuck your card by manually pushing the clock to highbefore 'testing' it with that test button..... may not be 100% on this :eh:
