Looking for advice to buy a new custom PC.

Hello everybody!

As you can see in the title, I need some advice because all these benchmarks and reviews are driving me insane and I cannot decide!
Basically I want to get a new custom built PC and it will be used for live streaming, gaming (all sorts of games including system taxing ones) and YouTube (so video editing). I do not really have a budget. My pc when I bought it had also the latest parts that were out and it was quite expensive. I've been thinking of selling my parts and buying new ones but my hopes are low to get any decent money from my current system. Here are my current system specs and hardware (which I want to upgrade):

Processor: Intel I7 3770k
CPU cooler: Noctua NH-D14
Motherboard: Z77A-GD65
RAM: 16 GB
SSD: Samsung 830 series (238 GB )
HDD: 2x Samsung HD103SJ (1 TB )
GPU: EVGA Geforce GTX 680 (2 GB VRAM)
PSU: Corsair AX 850
OS: Windows 7 64 bit (Home)
Case: Corsair 600T Black

Mouse: Razer Naga
Mousemat: Steelseries QCK+
Keyboard: Razer Blackwidow Ultimate
Headset: Astro A40 + MixAmp
Webcam: Logitech HD Pro Webcam C920

Monitor: Phillips 248C3LH

As you can see my system might be a little outdated, especially the GPU compared to today's standards. I would like to resume 1080p/1440p gaming as 4k gaming right now seems (my personal opinion) too expensive and not worth the money for what it offers really, as far as I read not that many games support 4K either (unless someone persuades me 4k is really really worth the money).
Anyways, since I plan on doing YouTube and live streaming, I need new hardware aside from my PC too. I was thinking about having a separate mic (Blue Yeti) with a few components like a shock mount/pop filter/boom arm. I'm looking to replace my hardware at the moment in general too as in headset keyboard and possibly monitor (I want to try out dual monitors as it looks quite handy).
PC-wise I want to go for something cool this time around. The system above was my first PC build and thus I kept it quite simple, this time around I want to go for LED lights in my PC and make it look fancy (currently I'm thinking of a black/red themed PC). Most of all I want my rig to be somewhat future proof as my current PC, despite some problems, lasted me maybe 4-5 years.
As far as I understand not all games support SLI so I'm probably going to avoid buying 2 cards unless someone who knows a lot about SLI tells me otherwise. Overclocking... I didn't really dabble much into overclocking, I mean I boosted my current system using the driver functions but I am very interested to overclock and look up all the details if it greatly benefits me and if the parts don't break down on me in a year.

Leave your system spec suggestions below, I would greatly appreciate it. Also, I might ask why you made that decision as I'd like to see the reasoning behind the decisions so it will help my pc knowledge out a bit. I plan on buying these components and hardware very very soon.

Thank you guys so much in advance!

If i were you i'd upgrade the GPU and that's it, there isn't much to be gained by upgrading the rest of the PC, unless you are willing to drop some serious cash.
Future proofing in the GPU department is unfortunately not really a thing, if you want to avoid dual GPU setups you should probably go for a 1070 or wait for AMD releasing Vega towards the end of the year/beginning of 2017. But more than 3 years you are not going to get out of those either.

I also read about problems in general called "bottlenecking". Do you think I will have this issue when getting a 1070/1080 with my current setup ? also what third party brand should I opt for?

Bottlenecking is a nasty word on here mate ;)

Your current set up will be fine for what you want to do - I'd get a new GPU and put the rest of the cash towards your mic and a nice monitor. 4K is not really viable at the moment so you're better off with a high refresh rate 1080 or 1440p panel. A 1070 (or wait for Vega) will drive that really well.

Bottlenecking means that a PC component can't perform to its full potential due to another part limiting it. It can happen with any setup really, a game like Arma 3 is going to run into a CPU bottleneck regardless of what you get, but with most games you will do just fine.
It's still a bit early to give recommendations on manufacturers, most of them haven't released their full line up yet, there are reviews for the MSI gaming and ASUS strix cards on this website though.

I had my eye on the strix one actually, when my system needs updating I can go for a nice black and red themed pc. I'll need to think then between 1070 and 1080 because I want to play games like ARK, witcher 3, and my skyrim game (maxed out mods with a lot of 4k textures) and more and have a high amount of fps with it while everything is maxed out to the max. Thanks for confirming 4k isn't really optimized yet so to speak because I had doubts.
I'm also not sure what you mean with high "frequency" panels? What panels do you suggest? Also would it be a huge update on my current monitor? I am considering getting 2 screens for streaming.
Also because I am getting a microphone who is pretty good (I was thinking about a blue yeti), what headset do you guys recommend me? My Astro A40s are getting worn out kind of and I want to switch it up. I guess I don't need to look at mic quality but just sound quality then, any suggestions on that? :)

I don't really have a budget, I got money I just don't want to waste it needlessly so to speak. So basically if it costs a lot BUT it's worth its money I'm ok with it. If not then not obviously. :)
