Where will you be getting your copy of BF3

So the question is in the title. But I also want to clarify something, why are people so pissy about Origin... Ive never had a problem using it, and it isnt exactly hard to have another game client running in addition to steam. Or am I missing something ?

Ive already pre ordered mine getting it on disk with all the goodies including a hat and set of dog tags cant wait to get it

Is the beta access for people that preorder on origin, or is it for everyone ? ... origin might be the best bet for me anyway, mainly because ill have work that day, not sure if ill make it to the shops before closing + next day is a public holiday so shops will be closed in WA

Disc version ordered from GAME, getting my Beta code from playing MoH.

I have heard this will be an open beta, but if you played MoH or preordered with origin (or jump thru some other hoops)you get early acess? Dunno how "early" you get it be before it goes public, i would assume at least 2 weeks
 
I'll get mine from where ever I can get it the cheapest i'm not really bothered about where it comes from as long as I can play it.

Just picked it up on origin, FYI you get 48 hours early acces + BETA acces + back to karkand (map pack) if you pre order from origin, atleast that is how i understood it

You are correct, EA will no longer release major titles on steam aparantly... they want to use there own service

Probably just get a physical disc, also EA's not gonna win any favours by pulling fiendish moves. I think they've pulled all their titles not just the major ones off from steam and are going head to head against steam.

I don't mind the competition but they would have many more customers if they worked with steam instead of against them, for e.g. to entice people to origin they could have exclusive offers and early access, but cutting suppliers and making their content exclusive as well as more expensive then anywhere else ain't going to go down well.
 
Finally gave in and walked into game to preorder. Had a bit of a row with the shop manager when i enquired if i preorder it from Game, would i still get the freebies/dlc.

He had no idea
