Where can you get Geforce Go's?

Fairly fruitless searching of the interweb is leading me to believe that it's somewhat hard to get hold of graphics cards for laptops. I'm sitting here on an AJP D800T (Clevo, basically Alienware Area-51M 7700) and I want to stick something that can really crunch benchmarks inside it. Currently it's using the Geforce 6800 Go - 256MB DDR3, but I'm regretting not spending just a measly £75 more and getting the 6800 Go Ultra.

Thing is I'm sure after adding another 1GB memory module into the beast for 2GB of dual-channel memory it'll whizz by in games, I paid for an Intel P4 650 because it was offered as a free upgrade from the 640 at the time (love special offers! :D) but the graphics card seems to hold it back somewhat.

So back to my original question; where can you buy Geforce Go's? I'll consider the portable versions of ATI chipsets also, it's just I'm rather fond of NVIDIA's drivers and SM3.0... what I'm looking for is a 6800 Go Ultra or a 7800 Go (if that's what it's called). Best I came up with was about one result on eBay, which was for the card that I'm already using, the standard 6800 Go.

Couldn't see any in the UK. This would be sweet to stick in the missus P4-M lappy and cain some games :)

What kind of lappy does the bird rock? Tiz it a Dell or a Clevo?

Yep. But doubt I can convince her ton keep it as she's getting a work laptop and just nudges me whenever she wants to sue a PC. She doesn't do much just occassionally browse on it. Her lappy was for Uni really.

Ah well: maybe I could buy it off of her :)

Yeah he wants a lappy card mate...

Get one off of ebay, Eguy has provided u with some good options :)

Eguy? I never said anything :bootyshak

But I will now! I wish I had a 7800gtx go!!!!

Man it would rule if they were easy to get hold of... I've got the 220W PSU for the extra juice and all, just not the card itself, damnit. :(

Yeah was a bit worried about that... there was one for the Clevo notebooks last time I checked.

I still haven't got any emails back from AJP or Clevo.

I have a 6800 Go, and must say that it is D O N, as in 'the DON' - they clock really well to, though OC'ing lappies is dodge, as the small space means that the temperature rise can heat up other components, and then everything could get f00ked... but either way, I found a tasty 93mhz increase on the clock, which I held back to 65 to be on the safer side :) The only other cards are the Ultra that you mentioned, and the 7800 go, both of which will cost an arm and probably two legs and kidney..... plus they are harder to get hold of than gold dust from Mars..... ;)
