I'm without my home PC and it's really starting to cheese me off.

I read about people getting their G0's from ncix (Canada/USA) and I am really considering taking the import tax hit just to get one now.

Honestly. I'm not happy.

No matter which store I speak to in the UK the answer is the same 'we have no idea when we are getting any in'. NO IDEA! NO IDEA!!! Before penryn would be nice...

Speaking to ST/Tek this just seems to be the sad truth, no one knows. I just think after 8 days after the price cuts somewhere would have them in. I even had a dream about G0 quads last night. Thats just wrong on so many levels it is untrue.

At this rate I'll be waiting another 2/3 weeks... :nono:

Do you actually have proof that the G0 is a cooler running model? It makes the most sense to assume that Intel rates it as needing a lower amount of heat dissipation not because it runs cooler, but because it can tolerate more heat. That's what I see looking at the sSpec info for it on the Intel site.

Just got off the phone to them. To date they have not had any.

They are starting to advertise, but like everywhere in the UK they are simply ringing distributors weekly to try and ascertain when they will receive some.

Dave and Brian seem to be doing all they can to sort me out, for that I am grateful.

I have been told I should get one but being outside the first order means no guarantee. If I do get one it will be later, hopelfully just a few days.

I imagine as they are doing me a favour they do not want to commit in case they can not deliver. I totally understand.

Are you deffo in the first 40? Have you received an email with instructions to pay and so forth? As the final hour approaches I'm worried I may miss the boat if there is a cancelation...
