Hello all

not sure if anyone has any idea or could tell me what type of internal ducting i would need to install for fiber internet

I am looking to decorate the room where i would like the fiber to run so wanting to get it all the duct run while i am doing that but i dont know if it need to be specific ducting or if i can just use 25mm conduit from where i would want the fiber to go to and then finish on the outside wall

Doesn't need to be anything special for internal use, 25mm will be fine as long as you put a rope in it, and then when you/they run the fibre through it put a rope on the fiber as well so you always have a pull rope.

When it comes to outside, you will just need to make sure you can get a cover for it to stop anything from crawling inside it.

I cannot remember the name of the stuff Virgin use but I know it's 96mm and 54mm as anything smaller and the cable won't fit and each type is used for specific cables only, 54mm for Core/Backbone cables, 96mm general fibre and co-ax usage.
