What made you LOL today?

2080ti is still going to be a good card without doubt but idk if i would pay 550 when a 3070 is 469 ish seeing AIB cards go up on sites but they are for the 3080 and 3090 but they are at the stated prices.

like 550 for a 2nd hand 2 year old card just doesnt seem worth it when the coming cards fair better for around the same money.

Depends on location. Australia prices for a 3070 will be scandalous for example, so a used 2080ti is more appealing. And £550 for a 2080ti second hand after 2 years is definately worth it. I think you underestimate how good they are. I'll be selling mine for almost double that, and I know it will sell.

I got Aussie prices for the founders cards today, but they all say starting at, 3070-$809, 3080-$1,139 and 3090-$2,429

Thats probably about right then. Im expecting the same for us to be honest.

2080ti prices are not falling. They have risen actually :S

Lucky if so, all the 2080Ti's finishing on UK eBay yesterday didn't sell if over £600, seems the 2nd hand price is £500 already here

£500 is a massive drop in price, but I still don't think it is worth it over 3070. We need to see the reviews first.

My rule of thumb for used hardware is: 60% of the price of a new part at the same performance level.

I already have a brand new block in hand mate. That's why I am after one.

Regardless of the 30 series I think it's a decent price, if I can snag one.

I took that last night. That's COD MW (it's hard to play and photo at the same time, you end up staring at the sky lol) but the lowest FPS I saw was 138. The highest was around 190.

That's 1440p, with ultra settings, RT on and etc and all of the latest updates (so that RT actually does something now). Render resolution is locked to 1440p, my native res.

So yeah, another one of those (with a 200 mhz lower clock no doubt) will be a nice upgrade over my 2070 and I don't need to buy a new block.

I don't trust the 3070. For a few reasons, but mainly look at my VRAM usage. 9.5gb at 1440p.

It's been said there are cards coming with double the VRAM, but that could well be the catch. They could cost a lot more than the variants coming soon, especially the GDDR6X ones.

I don't really care about RT at all (I have shown pics as to why) and I game at 1440p.

I offered £450 for a Zotac blower. He refused, but tbh he will be lucky to get any more.

I pointed out the incoming 3070 cost the same, he didn't reply LMFAO.

These people must think others were born yesterday

to be honest, I wouldnt have bothered replying either. I wouldn't care about the 3070. I would care about offloading my own card. Im pretty sure he had alot of offers too so i would just move on to the next :D

It hasn't sold and no bids.

my 1080ti's didnt sell for a week but then suddenly both sold for £700. Patience is a virtue when it comes to getting what you ask :=)

Are you aware of the situation here in the UK? the going rate for a FE is £550.

Top end cards are selling under £700.

Let's face it, none of them are worth that. At all. Probably why there are so many.

What i was implying is that if the seller has patience, there will be someone that will come along with lack of willpower, and pay what the seller wants.

Its a matter of finding those buyers that NEED the item as opposed to wanting it. Those who want have the sense to know when enough is enough.

Well good luck to them tbh.

And him. He will have a hard time selling a blower model to any one, when you can buy a Duke for around £600.

Just shooting the crap with my mate through email. PC modder, like. Any way, his kid gets told he needs to make a bird feeder for school. Plastic bottle with a hole through it.

My mate got carried away and took an old res....
