Which OS do you use on your main rig?

Windows XP or Windows Vista

If you do not use any of the above then do not vote

*UPDATE* I also want to say if you do not Dual Boot, but use Both Vista and XP on different rigs then vote 'Both (Dual Boot)'

So if I do not use none of the above I musn't vote? So what data are you hoping to collate then?:D (think double negatives:) )

But if you do want to know, I use Vista:D

The information I want to collect is weather Vista or XP is popular.

You should have said 'If you do not use any of the above then do not vote'. The way you said it meant that no-one should vote, because you used a double negative. I was just pulling your leg over it:D

Edited. Thanks for the small English lesson. :D

i'm only using vista cos my last xp disk doesnt work :(

so i'm stuck with it

i have to do a reinstall every 3 weeks though, when it all goes corrupted and BSOD's on me

its usually every 2 - 3 weeks

stupid thing..

i hate it

I use Vista x86 Ultimate cause i like DX10 eye candy. If it wasnt for me having an 8800GS i garuntee you i wouldnt be using Vista at all. My main rig is the only one ive personaly set up that uses Vista. The rest are all XP.

It looks like I am gonna be in the minority, because I actually like Vista alot. I haven't had any problems other than driver issues with a wireless card when I first got Vista. I run the 64bit version and had some old games which wouldn't run on it, but I expected that. It was the same when I went from 98 to XP.

I find Vista to be as stable as XP, it looks good and once you get used to all the new features, it's easy enough to use. Sure there are some things which are different to XP, and if that wasn't so it would be called XP v2. I think that some of you may have been too young to remember XP's launch and first year in existence, but if you do you will also remember that XP was full of bugs. That's why we are now on SP3. Vista is no different, and every OS from MS has been buggy from launch. Just my thoughts, anyways :)

I remember XPs launch, but i was running ME so XP even on launch day was a Godsend to me rofl. Then i said screw it all and went back to 98se :D

Btw does anybody know how to get the sidebar back? I think i might have deleted it when i slimmed Vista but im not sure.

I'm on XP x64 on my main system atm :)

I'm thinking of getting vista x64 at the moment tho (as I might be getting a 9800gtx+ & some more RAM).

I've just put vista 32bit onto my laptop as it needed a re-format so am going to use that as a testbed before I get it for my main system :D

vista 32bit.....

xp on laptop..

keep changing between xp/vista when ever i do a new install..did have dual boot too but canny be bothered anymore.
