What colour to paint my side panels?

So I'm going to be practicing my modding skills on the chassis side of things for use in future and a small project. Once I've gotten the hang of sanding, spraying and respraying old bits of a redundant chassis it won't matter if i screw up on, I would like to try out painting the side panels on my NZXT Hades.

Just wondered what colour you guys think would work best (I'll upload a pic afterwards but it'll be on my crappy phone camera and whenever I get round to doing this (in the next month or so).

I'm not quite sure how you can paint gold with gold glitter using cans? unless you are going for a full out hvlp rig?

I would start small. Painting with flakes and pearls takes a lot of practice.

It's gold paint and glitter in the same can. I know I'm not going to master it first time that's why I'm practicing on an unwanted £10 steel case first.

I'm not exactly an expert - what's hvlp?
