What clamp size for 7/16" tubing over 1/2" barbs.

Couldn't figure out what size clamps to get for 7/16 ID tubing on 1/2 ID barbs. I was thinking it would just be 5/8 OD clamps but would this be really tight and hard to get on because of the extra width added by the barb?

im sure with 7/16" tubing on 1/2" barbs, you dont need to secure them as the barbs are 2mm wider which makes the tube very tight fitting

Yeah. You'll see when you get to putting the tubing itself on the barbs that it isn't going to come off in a hurry.
I needed a hair drier and boiling water to make the tubing soft enough to even get the tubing on 1/2inch barbs in the first place. It takes a lot of force to pull the tubing off too.

Cheers for the interest. I was just wondering what would fit because I prefer the look of the clamps on the barbs (and no I don't want compression fittings).
