One 280GTX is in my server which wants 100% stability, and the case is full of radiators for the other PC, so I need it as cool as possible. The other I'd sold to a mate, who took it apart, and broke the fan (the whole motor is fried), and sold it me back for a lot less, so that's currently at stock until I can get a replacement fan/ cooler. I've noticed about a 15% disparity on the gpu2 - 3, so maybe there are some new WUs?
If the difference grows, I'll change, if not, I reckon I can live with 15% down. Doesn't 2 also have a problem with different numbers of stream processors or is that a CUDA issue (that's been solved).

With the newer drivers and new cores from PG that issue is way in the past. I'm running a GTX275 and GTX260 216 on the same machine for about 17.3K PPD combined but on GPU2.....
Thought so, just wanted to check. I'll see how I go on 3 for the minute, just lazy not swapping back, but now its all set up, I feel like I don't want to touch it incase something falls over. I now have all four GPUs in the 5970s working, but I think most of the time they will need to be off, as the room is at about 35C already.

+1 for that i thot my room gettin to 30 was bad!
I'm looking forward to getting back to uni, that way I get all the electricity I need, and can run with open windows all the time I'm in the room. Temperature really creeps up when I close the door, so my music doesn't annoy anybody else in the house.
Back when I was running twin 280s in my main rig, and a 9800GT in my server in my old uni room (so cosy in the winter) it would regularly hit 37C, which was nearly warm enough for me.

I just wanted to update and tell you that I am running my ps3 once again.
