Nikk, even with GPU3 Client and forced r700 flag?

i haven't tested gpu3, but i read it still takes too much cpu?

with gpu2 i had the same ppd with cpu as with cpu+gpu

Nope GPU3 takes less CPU ;)

O wait you have a Ati card right ?

Hmm but still i think it takes less of the CPU....

If I was at uni, I would be heating my room with my 280GTX and possibly 9800GT. Unfortunately, I'm at home and therefore don't like to use that much electricity. Come ATI and get a decent client for multi GPU...I've got a lot of processing power in my i7 rig.

That's a nice little Folding rig you've got there! Under -advmethods I reckon you'd be pulling about 35K PPD and under -bigadv about 45K PPD. :D

Nowt special...

E6600 (stock) SMP2 & 8800gt GPU2

Q6600 (stock) SMP2 & 8800gt GPU2

Really need to get some new gear, been saying it along time but if im not saving money it gets spent on cycling gear :)

lol

I know what ya mean, if I'm not buying Folding kit it's going on Whiskey...err...no...that's not entirely the same... :D

:yumyum:

Stock ? :nono:

heat ?

Ya no OCing on these machines as they're Dell's :haha: i got sick of building my own / others & paying OTT on parts so 2yrs ago i got a Vostro 410 Q6600,2gb ram, 160gb HD & 8800gt for £113 with a 3yr warranty from a trade warehouse :rocker:

Did the same with my old Dimension 9200 system as well but that was alittle more expensive 3yrs back but i still saved over £250 vs buying the parts myself.

Would never buy a new Dell when trade warehouses hold such treasures :D

Might venture bk into building my own again if i could be arsed, which given my present state of mind towards computers doesn't seem lightly...well unless its rains all the time & i cant get out cycling.

Current systems:

Q6600 @ 3.2

8800 GTS 640mb (possibly replacing it with 460 GTX)

E6600 @ 3.2

GTS 250 512mb

If the electric bill wasn't so high and baking in my room, then I could include my Q9400 @ 3.4 and 8800 GT into the mix again.

Q6600 @ 3.0 GHz

Xeon E5420 @ 2.5GHz

2x Xeon E5630 @ 2.53GHz (Using 14 of the available 16 cores)

i7 920 stock, too damn hot and I need to rework my cooling before I can overclock again

9600GSO

GTX470

Now I can officially add a GTX 460 1GB into the mix. :D

In all:

Q6600 @ 3.2

E6600 @ 3.4

GTX 460

GTS 250

8800 GTS
