What 970 to go with?

Well a 280x or a new 380/370 should be it's competitor. I would be more apt to think they will more or less equal. Probably end up buying whichever is cheaper or has a bundle. I don't recall a 960ti being rumored however. We'll see I suppose!

Yup, no leaks so far regarding 960ti, although I asssume nvidia might want to release it once amd cards are out. Thats I think what they were waiting for. Unless they want to skip this card altogether and not release anything in this price/performance segment till next generation.

If you end up still in the market for a 970 after your wait, I can highly recommend the KFA/GALAX cards. my 670 was a KFA and my 970 is the Galax. both were the ex oc and both are quiet as hell and don't get hot. as for the Vram issue. on 1080p i have never come across it yet.
