watercoolin loop for 3 machines

OK so we are sorting out a bit more office space and we are thinking of building a watercooling loop to serve 3 pc's, none of these are high end games machines, just your run o the mill PC

We hve a waterchiller to do the cooling but we need to come up with a loop to allow us to plug in pc's as and when we want, into the loop. (3 maximum)

obviously we have everything on the Specialtech website to help but we are short on ideas at the moment, so I'm asking you lot for a few ideas...

If just CPU (as you probably only want cpu), A normal high end pump, like a larger iwaki, your water chiller (Subambient for these machines, or another type of water chiller for above dew point?) Then simply a large array of ballvalves with quick disconnects. Just ull lose the 6" of liquid between the ballvalves when you remove or add a computer so simply be ready to maybe add liquid to the resevoir over time.

apologies, I'll add a little more :D

1 machine will be permanent and the CPU and GPU will be cooled

the other 2 points will be for 'test' machines so there's no exact specifics as to what will be cooled.

Current form of thinking (late on Firday so all of us were knackered) -

Chiller, Coolplex (easy to fill reservoir), ball valves and quick release connections, similar to what has been suggested.

We have a large Ehiem in stock

that may be up to the job.

I think a little trial and error is going to take place... :D

Keep the ideas coming though, it's much appreciated.

Need a more powerful pump? Look no further... either the Ling D5 or one of these babys !

As for the ball valves.. good suggestion but bear in mind more than one of these will restrict the flow.. so don't expect great temperatures even with a water chiller

The ball valve's wont restrict the flow if say your tubes 1/2", get 9/16" ID Ball valves. As for multiple PC's like this, time to pick up an iwaki with multi head. You can get them with up to 4 paralel input/outputs. I suggest parallel for such a long loop as anything in serial better be all Swiftech 6002's mounted on CPU/GPU/NB (Its about the best high flow block swiftechs ever made, NOT the apogee)
