Watercooled BitFenix Colossus Project Finished

Hmmm why don't you go for the Haf X? It's good for air-cooling but it also supports watercooling.....

That may actually be the best option for you, plus it's an amazing case

Go 4 that case

I will keep that in mind

, only thing is I wanna go for the Raven 03 because it can supposedly fit a 480MM rad in the front o O and then a Duel 240 in the bottom, and to top it off you can supposedly mount another large radiator on the back of it

The raven is an air case and Ill tell you now 100% you will not get a 480 rad in the front of that. AND its quite compact so you wont be able to mount the pumps ect.

IMHO youll ruin a wicked case with what you were suggesting.

That doesn't sound like the raven at all. I think you may be getting the Raven confused with the likes of the Tenjin and I don't think you'd even get a quad in the front of that.

Really what your describing sounds more like the xigmatek elysium.

that is why I gotta say I cannot wait for the new Raven 03 >
biggrin.gif

Well I just had a look at the spec for the raven 3 and it does say you can have 4 fans at the front so guess it may be possible although I can't see how a quad rads going to fit without moving the PSU. An like Tom says, there's the pump and res to go in there too so its going to be interesting to see how they do this without making it look like a pigs ear. This should be a interesting one.

Meh, I have pulled off crazier things XD and I just looked as well on the raven site and it says it supports 4x 120mm fans in the front and the power supply is right under these four fans so there should not be a clearance issue there. Secondly, I have a plan worked out < < even tho it is kinda Gheto style but hey it will work .....hopefully XD

thanks dude, i will keep you all informed of my progress, hopefully this ssd cashing tech is up to scratch

I watched a comparison between two otherwise identical systems except one had smart caching, it only improves start up and shut downs by about two seconds - still, though, it's something

as long as it does its bit, i only have a 64gb ssd with a with a 1tb storage, the 64gb ssd always gets crammed and its a hassle having to move files over to the storage drive.

this way all my programs can stay on my "hybrid boot drive" so space wount be an issue

btw a special thanks to Grizzly for the heads up on this board and platform, though not much different, we all love NEW
