. My question is, do i have to spend loads of money on a water pump when you could buy a pump like this really cheap: http://www.h2osupplies.co.uk/index.php?act=viewProd&productId=60

thanks for your time.

need someone to confirm but

1. The pump runs of wall mains and not a computer PSU

2. 5k liters an hour most strong pumps are at about 750(laing dc5 ultra?) so too strong for tubing and fittings

3. it's too large to fit inside a case

4. Probably very loud

Thats more likely for something like a shower.

there are some good pumps on flea bay at the moment that out out performing the latest gen of PC designed pump's. Im not going to link in but people have been taking note and they are what seemingly producing some good seeped pumps that are quiet and don't half shift some water.

Ive got one on order and will play with it when it arrives.

yeah, i wasn't thinking about getting one of these but the smaller ones pump 1700l/h and they cost around £20, i know they would make a lot of noise and everything but i only wanted to see if it was possible!

we used to use pond pumps (well some of us still do) how ever its back to old school when using them. Ill get a photo after of one.
