Since my audio ports are gone on my motherboard, I thought about usb soundcard but I have no idea if there any good.

Im not audio freak as long as I can play/hear games or talk to mates on skype.

Iv seen a few for under a tenner from good online retial pc shops...is there any ones I should look at?

The Asus Xonar U3 USB Soundcard - £28.99p

A mate of mine has this and for the price and size it's fantastic.

If you want to go a little higher up the Asus Xonar U7 7.1 USB Soundcard and Headphone Amplifier is definitely worth a look - £83.99p

I've actually got this 1 hooked up to the speaker system in work :D

£2 ? I can imagine the quality now and it's going to give me nightmares ^_^

its not that terrible for watching tv stuff. but i wouldnt be connecting it up to my downstairs dj system for any reason lol.

cheers for the info guys, I think the £90 one is a bit over kill for example Im using basic htc headphones that came with a budget phone and the quality doesnt bother me lol.
