unusual problem

My question is regarding a problem that appeared after I connected second gtx 250 into my system.

I have got:

asus rampage III extreme, processor intel i7 990x extreme, 12 gb corsair ram CMX12GX3M3A2000C9 BIOS set on xms profile1 to make ram speed 2000Mhz, vertex 2 120gb, win7 32bit,2x geforce 295 1792mb.

Since then when my gtx295 has been not good enough to play on max details, the best idea to update my pc, was to get another gtx295 and connect them into Quad sli

But then problem has appeared memory speed in Windows Experience Index drop down to unacceptable 5.5 and if i take it out second gtx295 all coming back to normal.

i have had tried to swap graphic card but without any success. What could be the cause of this?

probably not configured very well for quad sli like most programs, would of been better going for a more recent gpu if you wanted better frame rates

Make sure your cards are in the first and third x16 slots. Also make sure your DIMMs are in the three red slots.

If all that is okay, it could be the power supply. How many watts is it?

just run a benchmark to see if the ram is still performing the same. WEI is bs anyway
