Hello,
I am currently having some heat issues with my Gigabyte GTX 460 sli configuration. I am running them at default clocks but definitely plan on overclocking, atleast to 800mhz core. In Furmark they hit 85-88C depending on ambient and card. Card 1 gets hotter than card 2 by a few degrees, usually 2-4. However, the fan only runs at 70%. Noise is not an issue for me, I have an Antec 1200 filled with fans, so thats not an issue. If my GPU-fans would run at 100% this issue would most likely be solved.
Is there a way to unlock the fan speed? Bios flash? Is there a way to flash the bios from windows? All I want is to fix this fan speed thing. I am running Windows 7 x64 Enterprise.
Thanks in advance! //Lindrian
