Well here is the update on the CPU cooler follow the pictures and read at the end.
Motherboard removed and I will get to that at the end.
Just another shot of it out.
Stock heatsink removed!
Close up of the Motherboard notice the TIM left behind
Close up of my new door stop!
Preparing the new Coolermaster Hyper 612 for installation.
All installed and plugged up.
New shot to the back, it is massive.
Check out that stock idle tempeture.
So as the story goes I got this Coolermaster Hyper 612 from a box store in Dallas, TX used a rebate from an MSI product I got last year and only paid 20 dollars. Installation was not easy as it was just me so that is why I removed the motherboard. I did not use the TIM from the kit but used Coolermaster Thermal Fusion 400 as I had that laying around for some time and needed to use it. High 20s low 30s idle and no more than mid 50s in the most demanding apps.
I am pleased for now but do plan on water next summer maybe. Next on my list to get is the side window replaced than light it up and then some Corsair SP120s. On the long list is individually braiding the cables and water cooling.
Stay tuned for the side panel window change.
