Alright, so i am starting a new build, I want to try to keep a log of everything as it goes. Definitely not my first build, but will be my first time documenting things for an audience. The following will be in the build and will be tweaked as i go if need be.
Case - Corsair 570X Mirror Black
Motherboard - Aorus Gaming 7 z370
CPU - i7-8700K
RAM - G.Skill Trident RGB DDR4 3200
PSU - EVGA 1300 G2
GPU - EVGA 1080ti in SLI
SSD - Samsung 960 EVO 500GB
SSD - Samsung SM951 512 GB
So thats the basics, with a few things possibly changing. To start off with i will be using a Corsair h150i Cooler while working on a few things for the custom loop i will be doing. I have a friend who is working on making a custom reservoir but hes backed up in work so that will take a month or two. I dont want to wait that long to get this going. I have the itch to do another build and i think we all know that feeling.
Video cards are also another thing that may change. All parts are ordered except those because im waiting to see if there's an announcement of any kind from Nvidia at the end of the month. Then I will make the final call.
I only have the first two pictures and thats of the case. There will be more modifications, the frame to the case will be getting powder coated to Plum Crazy Purple. All my fittings will be as well. My coolant and my PSU cables will be as close to Sublime Green as i am able to get. Tonight i worked on something I've never done which was to etch the glass. Im really happy with how that process turned out.
