SieB New member Mar 21, 2014 #2 To run 4k at an anywhere decent framerate for gaming you are going to want at least a single 780 or SLI 780. A single 780Ti or 290x aren't even enough for a decent framerate, 2 cards are needed to have good performance in most games. Couple of examples.
