Twin Frozr III 560Ti Safe temps?

Title says it, just want to know how much i can turn down the fan, because above 40-50% it sounds like a jet engine, especially i connected all my fans to a fan controller

Oh my god... my GPU temps rise to about the 70c mark when playing minecraft....

while I would say 75c is the max I would push a gpu I beleive they are somewhat safe even higher.

How high do you have that thing clocked? I have the Twin Frozr III 570 and at 900 core 2200 memory and the fan at 50% I stay around 50-55 in Minecraft. But in terms of temps, I don't like to see mine over 70 degrees but you are safe up to about 90. If you hit 90 then that's realllly pushing it.

I have it on 950 core and can't remember the rest, but it is factory OC'd... And my 2500k at 4.5 with under 30% fan speed under a D14 doesn't get over 60c

EDIT: according to the site i bought it from it on 400mhz 4.2ghz memory

EDIT2: But in BFBC2 it doesn't get above 75 on max except AA is 4x

I don't have acces to my PC atm so i can't say any clocks for sure except i know that the core is on 950

It should be fine upto 99 degrees. They are well tested by nVidia, there's a vid on Youtube showing temp test equipment, If I find it I'll post it.

mY 480's have reached 108 degrees and their recommended threshold is 105. That was nearly 1 year ago and they run OK today.

Found out why my temps were getting so high, GPU usage when in MC jumps between 70-98% wich is stupid..... Is this a bug?
