tubing

i'm looking for 7/16 tubing and am wondering if anyone has had experience with colored tubing that is lighter in color and translucent. I won't dye in my loop and I want to be able to see the barbs through the tubing but straight clear is a bit boring. I saw some "clear blue" UV tubing but it looks awfully clear--more like blue tinted. anyone know anything that i might look at? color is not thaaat important.

So you are after only slightly tinted tubing... well that is not going to happen and i don't think i have ever come across slightly tinted tubing. Its either got colour or it doesn't have colour simple as really.

thanks for the reply though

I found this earlier

My link

but it looks very light, some of the uv red looks like it might work but who knows

oh well, sometimes plans need to change^^

Dont take offence by this but bits power true silver fittings are not true silver and they in no way compensate for a silver kill coil. They are what i would call candy costed rubbish. They are the biggest waste of user money ever and are just for bling and nothing more. to many people are ready the buy over hyped marketing gimmick rubbish AFAIC.

All UV clear blue looks like that.

hehe no offence taken, though I was told if you had enough that they would act like a kill coil. Before then I didn't really think they were actually silver, I just like they way they look and they are easy to match it seems; at least they are cheaper than compression fittings.

I'm still in the planning stages, just got rads in today to see how things fit.

cheers and thanks for the advice

Still fit a silver kill coil though. real silver is quite soft and cannot be plated.

good luck your build though and planning is the most important part of building a water cooling loop. Faill to plan properly means money down the drain in the long run.

hehe yeah and planning is one of the best parts imo^^

I'm thinking of either clear or UV reactive one of the two is probably what I'll go with. But tubing and blocks are a ways away. cheers
