TTL's 40TB Server Build

mm ok not sure in what you want I can make full 3d logo in 3d max and render it out in key shot but It takes time to make it lol
Any input of what you want would be good so that I can start tomorrow?

here a sneak peak of what I working full 3d see this NO 2D HERE!

It took me about 2 hours work.
I have still to texture them out in full render but ill do that later in keyshot a fully 3d logo could be used for your site tom.
I was not sure in what you wanted wait for the finished render tonight.
What do you think so far everyone?

Tiny Tom, I liked this video, as I usually like all the others, too. This one is about a project I have yet to make up my mind on. I have a case, mb, memory, cpu etc in which I could build a server, but I have issues with raid, etc. I have not resolved those issues, so I continue to look at other's solutions.

My main rig was 'rebuilt' in 2014 and has been great. It is in the FT02 case I bought in 2012, and I have only made one 'real' mod, which was to have the back panel replaced with a one inch bump out so the cables don't get squished. I lost a 3TB drive because the power cables failed when I was initiating the drive.

I use Ubuntu Linux, and was so so glad to dump Windows 7 ultimate. More reliable, and NO viruses since. You did not specify the OS for the Red40.

Best regards, AraiBob

Tiny Tom mate don't go upsetting the Guv

This is a rather unusual build for TTL to showcase, but is already one of my favourite projects Tom has done.

Looking forward for further updates.

It does fit too really WD=Western Digital -40 Terrabytes but change the logo heaps so you don't infring copyright and laughin

So long as you're not profiting from it or using it for advertising purposes without permission, we'll be fine. But just to be on the safe side I altered the image slightly.
