Right, alot of you may know I upgraded my Creative speakers to something a little more powerful and crisp sounding.

Have a lookie and see what you think.

AMP: Sony STR-DE197

Speakers: Jamo 406 S

Specs: 100watt per a channel, two channels.

This is alot of power considering the room, just did a "bass test" and wow, had the house shaking.

Comments are very welcome.. and I am wondering where to put the speakers seeing as one is wasted at the moment.. because it is facing away from me.

nice how much did the amp n speakers set you back in the end?

lots of magnetic things in close proximity to you pc and screen there

(i'd also personaly advise against popping ya monitor atop the amp blocking the air flow.. they really do get warm at times, well mine does)

It set me back around 200quid, which to be honest is a bargain for how well the perform.

I am wanting to get some longer wires for the speakers so I can get them further away. For the main reason that I will go deth and the other reason you mentioned.

The amp to tell the truth doesn't get too hot, but I will bare that in mind. Thanks matey!
