Ok, not water cooling specific i guess, but generally watercoolers are modders, so the eeps here should be able to answer with some sense...
The question really is, where do you draw the line(s) on what mods you are going to do?
Where the cost of equipment etc cuts into the hardware you want IN the rig? Where your own ability is the limiting factor? The time it takes?
For me it is actually all three, although I'm currently considering downsizing the gpu I'm eying off to buy some pro spray painting gear...would drop from a1080ti to probably a1070...
