Time Sync.

It's on its own channel on the Farbwerk, so theoretically anything should be possible including turning it off :D One channel is the memory RGB, one channel the front, one channel the top and the last is for the flow meter.

That's the good bit, playing with it all and tweaking it. Just not had the time.

I must want my head examined.

Coming in 2020.

Holy crap dude, and I thought I was crazy for build rigs I don't use to their full potential, LOL! Kinda shuddering looking at that Bykski block though. Had one of those, will never buy again. Mounting system sucks ass (just look at the cheap springs in that pic. You WILL ruin at *least* one of those springs). Get spare springs if you can sir.

Cool, that looks much better. I spent $120CDN on my AM4 block, and ruined half the springs. Now it's an expensive paper weight with a pretty embedded temp sensor screen, LOL. I went HeatKiller for my TR build. That mount was no joy either, but it's a heck of a nice block.

Whoah, I'm half way there. Chicken on a bear etc.

Got a set of two 8gb 3200. Didn't want to go higher because Ryzen 1, but I can always run it at 3000 if it plays up.

I'll grab a second set in a couple of weeks. Gotta wait for the block which gives me time to save :)

Hey, may as well do it properly, right?

You gave up because of that? dang man. You need to start your modding career dude. If the part doesn't exist make the bloody things.

Every job I do is usually a mod or hack. Nothing in my price range would work otherwise. I mean for 6 years I have been running CPUs that were never even released lol. My last retail chip was a 3970x and I didn't even pay Intel for that I got it used.

Bought the last of the ram. I proper hummed and harred about it but decided to just do it. First kit was used like new from eBay for £99. Second set (identical) was on sale on Amazon for £120 down from £159 so borrocks, I grabbed it.

I was going to run it dual channel because then I'd possibly get 4.1ghz but sod it I want it future proofed now. Mainly so I can just leave it for three years like I did with the stuff in there.

It saves me wiring up the ram in there which is a royal pain.

There's a high chance I will build a server now with the kit in there.

I still have my silver Alienware with chainguns and basically every part to water cool it.

Ram is all here. I had to cancel the board as ebuyer were messing me around and obviously not being truthful.

I ended up ordering the board from Amazon, should arrive tomorrow.

OBS I still need the block but at least it'll all be here.

I did think about other boards but tbh this one really was the best for me.

What a pulava, ffs.

I contacted ebuyer and asked for refund. She says ok cool no probs.

I order a board from Amazon, cool. Then I get shipped notification from ebuyer. Thankfully I could still cancel the Amazon order fgs.

Any way that's going to my mother's today, so I'll grab it at the weekend. I'll get some pics up a bit later.

Can't wait to see some results! Make sure you get the UEFI/microcode updated right away. TR is a bear, I've had many issues with hard locks, random reboots, poor performance etc. On windows 10 1809 it was rock solid even on the older UEFI versions, but after updating to 1903 I was having to reboot daily, sometimes multiple times a day. After the updates though it is stable again. Haven't updated to 1909 yet.

I'm running the ASRock X399 Taichi.

I'll get it stable and leave well alone tbh. My mate had the same sort of issues with his Zenith, but hopefully it'll be good.

I nearly spent more on a board and the Taichi was in my sights but hilariously what stopped me was the two 8 pin. That could well cause me large headaches. An extra 4 pin? I could make a dual molex - 4 pin at worst but I've seen the board running without it and the board I got is 8 phase, so I'm sure I wouldn't need it unless I went with a 24 or 32 core next gen.

TBH there was absolutely no need to do this, but I do upgrade my PCs every two years and this was overdue by 6 months.

Stupid part is I have my silver case with a 600w PSU in it and lots of water cooling gear so if that stuff doesn't sell then hey, next project I guess. Would make a killer silent server.

You know you are hooked on PC things when you read the label with 48, country GB and x16 then this jumps into your head.

48GB storage,
16x lanes, PCIE Gen 4

I need help... :D

Hahaha I missed that.

All I saw was "radiator".

Made coffee and opened it up. Very nice. However it has springs and AMD made their bolts M 3.5 and finding much of anything in that size apart from horrid screws is impossible.

So I'll have to have my buddy make me something custom.

50p and a bunch of grapes to the first guy or gal that can tell me which is the inlet, and which is the outlet pls. Thx m9 gr9.

Well here it is. Coffee now inside my body. I have massive issues with my sleep pattern and sleep when my brain allows me to. So last night I took my sleep tablets at 11pm and was still awake at 5. By that time they've worn off, so I can't stay asleep. I also knew the block was there because RM carded me yesterday. Any way, I woke at 11, put the coffee on and popped down to the post office as you can see.

It came with the thumb nuts and springs but there's a 90% chance I won't use those. I will likely get my buddy to machine me something that bolts it straight down with no springs. I kinda like the idea of not having any thumb nuts and it being nice and streamlined.

Thank you sir. I figured as much but figured I'd check.

Next week then! Thankfully I bought 10m of black hose and didn't throw it away when I moved lmao.

What black hose did you get? Was it EK by any chance? The reason I ask is because I have that stuff in 3/8 5/8, and it's a very difficult fit with some fittings. I couldn't put Bitspower collars on when using EK tube in 3/8 5/8 (because of the finer thread I suspect). But XSPC fittings were fine, as were Darkside ones, but those both have much thicker threads on the collars. FYI!
