I've got one the same atm,gonna take a couple days to complete by looks of things.

Had it on most of day and only 460/2000 complete.

had it yet again last night, started WU at 22:58 and its at 91% at the moment, with my ppd at a puny 9K

These Nvidia 270.xx drivers seem to run my 560 Ti around ­­5°C or more hotter, which is worse considering the much cooler ambient temperatures as we ease in autumn in the south. Now I have to run it stock to prevent it overheating, and then downclocking and killing my PPD.

Anybody here using OS X for folding? I can't seem to pickup any new SMP WU's since about 9 o'clock this morning. It keeps telling me:

Empty work server assignment.

How come you guys are getting crazy amounts of ppd? I see allot of you getting 30k + which is mental.

I have a i7 950 @ 3.7 ghz and a 6950 flashed to 6970 and only get like 8k ppd 4k from smp and 4 k gpu.Am i doing something wrong?I currently have four smp clients running and a gpu 2 client running all at the same time.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Windows Vista/7 GPU2 Console client 6.23 and V6 Beta SMP2/CPU clients

SMP2 client console 6.34 ( four of them at same time with different directories and machine id's)

Well the AMD card is hurting your i7's PPD. You should be over 10k PPD with those clocks using -smp. AMD cards are horrible for folding really. My 470's each get 12k-15k a day depending on the WU and they are stock clocked.

What do you mean 4 smp clients? You should have one client folding for the CPU using the -smp flag.

So I should just sack using the 6950's and only use the CPU clients?

I might splash out and treat myself to a new graphics card next month and start a new build dedicated to folding, might even get a 590 depending on wages I receive

With one client using the -smp flag in the shortcut, F@H will use all your cores. SMP WUs are worth more than normal WUs so your PPD should go up. When you fold with AMD GPUs though, they can hurt the PPD of the CPU folding because the AMD GPU client takes some % of the CPU.

Run CPU folding with the -smp flag and check the PPD after awhile. Then start up GPU folding and check the PPD. Even though GPU folding will hurt your CPU folding, added together they may equal more PPD than just folding with the CPU.

Yep, after .exe put a space followed by -smp. Then when you run F@H look in task manager. You should see all cores at 100%.

I only started folding few days ago with a friend who also has same gpu and similar cpu, trying to decide if i want to scrap are wee team or join u guys here.

yet another ninja reboot during the night thanks to windows updates

been on this 10119 WU for about 24 hours now thanks to that,

on a side note, i had to go back to the GPU tracker as the beta wasnt connecting to the servers properly and dropped WU's as a result after a few checkpoints
