I think something is not working properly.
My points did not update on the team site all day yesterday and still haven't today, I'm not sure if it's a delay or if I am doing something wrong, see pic for details.
Sorry if this is the wrong place to post this but it is kind of annoying

why haven't you got -advmethods checked for GPU and SMP ?

Strange... I did have it checked and I don't remember unchecking it, I didn't even notice
Is that the reason 5,000+ points have not been updated? i'm new to all this so i'm unsure if I am doing something wrong or not.

checking and unchecking -advmethods may cull your current WU
-advmethods enables the user to work on more advanced units, giving better PPD
so... toggling between them, i would imagine, resets the current work unit because the requests to the server are different
this may be the reason you may lost WUs and PPD

The thing is I didn't uncheck them, the client did crash once when I first ran it after applying the settings maybe thats what unchecked them?!?!?!?!?!
The team site has updated and I now have 3,418 points showing on there but I have got 11,100 showing in my client
looks like I have lost 7,700 points, it has updated my WUs correctly though.
Feels kind of bad, I have been folding hard, I had it running from about 12:00am till about 20 mins ago and all is lost

Switching to adv methods will not cull the current WU it just starts the next one with adv method capable WU.
In regards to your points the section where you wonder if they have not updated is correct as it only displays teh current WU being processed.
When you get past completeion of 10 A3 gromacs you will then start getting the bonus points for each unit completed on time or early (rememeber your passkey to get teh 10 Gromacs done).

Thanks for the info, I think i'm going to leave it running over night again, i'll start it ~9pm and stop it ~10am.

You should also change the section where it asks how many cores to use for SMP.....check the box that says use specified number of cores and enter 4 in the box next to it. Ishould have moticed that earlier.

Ok so its not 100% related to folding but it affects the status quo as in i could of bought new folding stuff with the cash...
Just had me car serviced, mot'd along with new discs & pads all round + front suspension arm bushes...there's goes the best part off £600...oh & my insurance is due end of the month so that's another £350 lol
Oh well its only money....on a plus side im winning one of those 3 compo rigs

ive lost 3 GPU WU's down to "system instability" aparently yet everything is fully stable and the GPU isnt overclocked

That's what i thought at first but i never touched my rig ones i overclocked it to 4000Mhz,
but my rig was completely at default with speedcrap on etc...
I seriously are going to get a exorcist ASAP

At least you have all your hardware. I called ASUS to complain and ask WTF is going on to find out that they are closed in observance of the "holiday". I don't see myself buying another Asus product anytime soon...
