Those little annoying F@H things ..

both my main rig and my decated rig seem to be suffering with instability issues for an unknown reason over the last 2-3 days (since the GPU tracker update)

anyone else having issues?

This past week has been a bad one for me and F@H.....lost a -bigadv at around 78% with the A3 Exe. has stopped. Restarted it several times and instantly got the same error several more times. That is usually the sign of a bad WU, so deleted it waited a few hours to get a new WU and got the same one again and instant A3 Exe. message again. Deleted the WU and waited a few more hours and finally get a 6900

. The following day my 2nd 560 arrives so I stop the above mentioned machine to get a SLI bridge off of the 460's, pull the cards from the slots and clean fans and put it back together restart and the bios has reset

set it all up again and it's all working again

Two days later I see the I forgot to set the time and it's set to Jan 2nd 2002

so the time stamp on the -bigadv is wrong so it won't run now and another one is gone at 66%

And then there was the 4 or 5 hours of lost time trying to get the 560's to work together including a reinstall of that OS.

I think it's all working properly again

Ain't that the truth Steve. My 920 has randomly started spitting out the 6900 WU, luckily only a few % in but still...

it seems to have sorted itself now after a few reboots, its currently on project 6066 @ 5% with a ppd of 4,325.7

dads GF decided to turn the fan controller off a she thought it was on the on and off switch. AKA cpu gets hot and shuts down within 10-15 min

F sake

Can you not take it out and check to see if screws are tight? I know Tom has stripped loads down in his vids and reaasembled them with no major dramas. Also wonder what WU you get on it as tehy seem low compared to teh ones I get, is that the ATI restriction?

no I was referring to your under 300 points for WU, mine seem tobe over 300 and I know they are the GPU WU due to how much quicker they are than the darn 6701 my PC attracts

Reinstalled windows on my computer today before going to work and had it set to fold.... Came home and my computer appeared to be off, but no, it was in sleep mode!

ARGH!

EDIT seems like 2x update as one is way to low for what some people put out and one is just 0 ...
