Those little annoying F@H things ..

your not the only one suffering, folding has killed my dedicated folding rig after only a few days - luckily ive got better replacements on the way but its been a frustrating few days trying to diagnose and fix the problem

I almost threw both 460's into the snow last night! had a driver crash and now windows/nvidia driver/ afterburner can't recognize either let alone both 460's not even older driver works.

At least you can get as far as windows! my folding PC wont boot past the splash screen anymore and ive been through at least a dozen incomplete installs of windows 7 so far

It was free so i cant complain too much if some parts dont work as well as they once did - wear and tear, it happens

Well my 1 Rig is experience ASUS ON ASUS ABUSE!

ASUS GTX 460 TOP in PCI-E slot 1of my P6X58D-E = will boot into window's but Crashes drivers at clock speeds above 777 on the core!

GTX 560 TWIN FROZR Ti in any socket combined with a 460 either my asus or Msi will now show up in windows as VGA compatible device I've cleaned drivers rebooted and I'm about to go back to the hot running sandwich of 460 cylcone 460 top 560 Ti, the only problem is I know I'm pushing the outer limits of my HX750

but was the last time it acutally ran other than it was downclocking the asus card because it was the one on adapters.

Which is part of the reason my PPD is in the toilet along with my stomach contents

My room hates me

Rig2 locked up, not much better then turning itself off

Main rig the GTX260 had some unstable WU's clocked down and was under performing , yea things are going great again......

also neeed to undust my rigs so another PPD drop

Bahg !

not that I wish this on anyone but I'm glad it's not just me, also thinking some poor WU's coming through the pipeline

eck, good luck with that! You saw the thread at FM, right?

What's wrong with your 470?

It randomly white screens while playing games (did it twice to me) and the sound keeps playing so I know it's a GPU issue. I switched drivers and it seemed to help a bit, but not as much as I had hoped. It also did it once or twice while running 3dmark 06 and 11 stock.

Also, it randomly decides to downclock itself (lower than stock) after folding for awhile. I posted something in another thread (of maybe this one) and it showed MSI afterburners test artifacted to hell. Another problem is it seems to make this weird high pitched noise, but only when I run benchmarks and F@H -GPU3.

Overall I think it's just jacked up. Sucks hearing the horror stories about ASUS's RMA process. If they don't fix/replace my card im going to be pist. I did buy it locally so I could always take it back and throw a fit.

The high-pitched noise can be common when putting a card under full stress such as F@H. I've never heard of a 470 doing it, but 460's do.
