Those little annoying F@H things ..

Funny clicking noise coming from my H100i + higher temps than normal. Think the cpu is throttling, as the tpf has gone up massively. So I've had to shut it down, as I don't want to kill anything. Will see if Scan will RMA it...

That sucks man. I hope you're up and running again very quickly.

Swapped out the H100i for my trusty old D14 - but my nice fast 2100 memory wouldn't fit under it - lucky I had 4GB of Mushkin which I'm running at 1866. TPF is down by about 9 secs (just down to memory speed). At least I'm up and running again.

If I do get a refund for the H100i, I might put the money toward a 750ti...;)

Nice to hear you had a back up cooler (and not a bad one either).

I've been hit with a string of bad WU's lately :(

tbh I don't know why I didn't use it instead of the H100i in the first place - much more reliable for 24/7 running - and no pump to fail...

Came home from work to find my GPU stuck on "download" :/. I've lost a lot of points as a result.

On the plus side I changed the client-type to advanced and I'm back on core 17 WU's. I should have made the change when Steve mentioned it.

I had the same issue here, finally downloaded work a few mins ago.

It doesn't happen often, but it sucks when it does. I should really set something up to allow me to remote desktop into my PC to check up on things. Do you have something setup like this?

I'm on a core 17 atm, with the PPD and ETA ratio looking quite good. 78k points in 11 hours is pretty great.

I use vpn/realvnc. Something like teamviewer does the trick though and much easier to set up.

I'll set something up over the weekend. It'll be really useful for days like this. I was thinking about setting up VPN through my home server (running Server 2008), but it's probably not a good idea because of it being a domain controller.

I'll stick to teamviewer or something like logmein.

I'm downloading WU without any problem, but my PPD is also way down. Barley pushing 200k with 2x 780Ti and 770 plus a couple high-end Intel cpus and two more older GPUs.

So after 14 months of almost 24/7 folding, my gigabyte 7950's 3rd fan is dying - thank God for 3 year warranties and advanced RMA's :)

I was wondering how long those GPU fans last. Do you have any idea on the longevity of blower style fans? Specifically 780Ti reference design running at 80%.

Luckily I still have two and a half years left of warranty and it worst comes to worst maybe I'll water cool it down the road (it it doesn't kill itself by then).
