Have you guys had any exp with gay dongles

Did you install the latest driver for your wireless adapter? Once the installation of driver/program is finished you will have to set up the wireless adapter so that it syncs to your wireless network that you're already using. You should write down the wireless network name, the type of security that it uses and the security password if needed. You should have access to the wireless adapter's utility so you can enter the info needed to connect your wireless adapter with the wirless router successfully.

You may find the latest drivers for your wireless USB adapter unit in their respective pages at the download section from Tenda's website.

Tenda Wireless USB Adapters

Trust me mate i did the latest drivers. Emailed them to see if there is a known issue. When i go to the wireless utility it shows that the device is disabled. But i cannot enable it no matter what i try even when the wee icon comes up to say enabling in the network hardware section it remains greyd out

uninstall it reinstall it as admin and make sure ur logged into the admin account if you have multiple accounts on comp. And reboot even though it doesnt ask you to reboot

Are you using Windows 7? Have you tried going into Control Panel -> Network and Sharing Center -> Change adapter settings (located on the left menu). Do you see any wireless network configurations?

Ok the only thing I can think of is:

The usb port you are plugging in to does not have enough power for the device, I’m thinking if it’s a front header, then the usb is losing power on way to the device.

For example, if I use my 3 dongle direct to the port it works fine but if I use a 1m cable to get better signal the dongle karks it all the time.

Or the 5.5v rail on the psu is weak, say if it's 4.9 or 5.1 the device won't work properly and in some case's won’t work at all, test my theory with a multi meter on your usb ports.

Ive had this problem before with new usb devices on old computers.

I hope this helps.

Please let me no the outcome.

Ill try your suggestions when i get into work in the morning thanks for giving them to me. But for now im off to run the rooftops of constantinople
