The Ultimate Game Screenshot Thread [IMAGE HEAVY WARNING]

Nice, Safe travels ^_^

An earth like planet with a station orbiting it that has every ship and every component in the game all in 1 place for a permanent 10% off the standard price, You get access when you get Elite rank in either trading, Exploration or combat, I got Elite in trading with combat and exploration not far from turning Elite :)

How long does it take to earn Elite?

How long does it take to earn Elite?

Well I bought it just under 1 year ago and up until 3 weeks ago only had 60 hours in it, But 3 weeks ago I started playing properly and now I have a total of 296 hours put into it and I'd say around 100 of those hours have been spent doing passenger missions which yesterday finally earned me elite in trading which started out at the rank of nothing 3 weeks ago, Will probably take me another hundred to get elite in exploration and another hundred on top to get elite in combat.

damn that's a lot of hours into it. Definitely won't bother then. I don't have enough patience for that considering I would be flying around by myself with no one to talk to.

Well ED is basically an MMO albeit stupendously huge so the long grinds kind of come with the territory :)

I got founders as i backed the game before launch and have really enjoyed the 10% discount as way back when the game came out, making money was a LOT harder.

This is a screenshot thread, i better put some more up.

Thanks

It is pretty awesome going from Sagittarius A* straight up as high as possible and see the bulk of the core from there.

Is that game enjoyable with a controller? I mean im not forking out money for throttle, yoke and column. But since I have a nice controller maybe I can still get something out of it?

I'm using an Saitek X52 Pro for it and it just feels a lot better and more fun then using the mouse, i still haven't tried it with a gamepad, but then i expect it to be less fun then a stick anyway.

If you have the game, try it with your controller, or you could look for the cheap and cheerful Thrustmaster T-Flight Hotas X which is a very basic hotas that gets decent recommendations for Elite.

Works great with a controller, Before getting my X52 Pro I played with a mix of M+K and XB1 pad :)

As much as I would like to, my desk is minimalistic in my living room. I dont want guests looking over and seeing a game station per se. That being said, I already have a wheel and pedals so I dont want more peripherals cluttering up my home.

I'll give it a go with a controller since Dice says its ok. I don't think ill put the hours in to constitute the investment of a flight setup anyway... at least not yet.

I personally don't use my X52 Pro on my desk, I have a plank of wood that I sanded down, Painted black and just put it on my lap with the X52 Pro on it, Works well and takes up no space on my desk, After I've finished using it the X52 Pro goes to the side of my rig with all wires neatly tucked away and the black plank goes underneath my desk nice and neat :)

Just saw a 30% discount deal for the X56 pro. basically same price as the X52pro £190 in your currency. Is that a good deal?

any ideas? i might be tempted.
