The Ultimate Game Screenshot Thread [IMAGE HEAVY WARNING]

Have been playing some of the Halo: CE SPV3 mod at 4K.

It is funny how games get you to ask the important questions.

I've waiting for this game and can't believe I missed it's release. The visuals are simply awesome, a good story and a real change in pace from the usual games. It also has Rift support now and Vive support coming soon. I don't have VR but suspect this game would make or break you (zero G)! It's currently on Steam for £15, bargain!

Gave Skyrim another go, Put a few mods on -

2K textures
Pure Water
HD Plants and Herbs
Skyrim Flora and Fauna
AOF Detailed Mountains
Snow and Rock Texture - Cave and Rocks
Real Clouds
Real Vision ENB
More Grass
Various village, Town and outskirt enhancements

Also did a 24 hour day night cycle time lapse just for fun ^_^

Just gave BF3 a play and I remember this game at max settings 1440P running at around 45FPS.

Scary to see how far GPU's have come since the end of 2011 :)

Yep, AA was turned off, Turned it all to max.

What I find really odd though is I got in the same spot and FPS went up by 4

Yeah, that much smoother! As for the increase in frames, dunno!

I'm in a retro game mood myself, might give this a whirl.

Rise of the Tomb Raider, Saw it was cracked and then thought, Nahhh, And just bought it from a CD key site :)

The game is bleeding gorgeous !!!!

Performance is fantastic at 1440P.

This is why more games need to come with a negative LOD bias as default for things like metal and glass, Makes quite a difference to visual quality -

Looks like 8GB of system memory really is starting to become the absolute minimum for modern games and this was Mirrors Edge Catalyst at 1080P -

And then 1440P -

I was so disappointed with Catalyst that I almost chopped an ear off. Gutted.

ROTTR though? decent game with killer graphics :) I got stuck on that as it goes, might try and find a solution. Just kept dying and got annoyed lol.

You need to remember Dice, modern games will use as much memory as it needs, then after that, if more is available it willjust add more things into that pool so it doesn't have to reprocess it later. It's faster to grab from memory than to reprocess it:)

I still need to finish the 1st Mirrors Edge so I'm doing that before I play more Catalyst :)

Gotcha, I still remember playing Star Wars Galaxies around 2008 which was my addiction and my system used a whopping 1.5GB with SWG running, Now seeing 9GB in total used while gaming is getting to be the norm ^_^
