I can notice a difference ingame immediately between 1440P and 8K, Looks lovely, Might be time to go to specsavers NBD

You notice it because its sharper, but taking a decently nice looking poop and then taking the same poop but making it more refined and smooth doesn't change the fact it's still a poop.. and I do wear glasses. Even with my enhanced lenses that allows me to look deep into textures and look at each 0 and 1, it still looks poop!

You have to remember they went for a certain art style and not hyper realistic or Cryengine like, Polish your glasses then so you can see better *Jokes*

Just started playing Thief properly and I must say it's very pretty.

Just ran Batman Arkham Origins at 4K max settings minus AA and I remember running this on my 780 Ti with the exact same settings and it was stuttery and would barely reach 40FPS at 4K, Quite an improvement with the TX

I got about a 200 point boost in valley and a fair few games feel a bit smoother, Less judder etc...

I read I think it was on Gamespot that there might be a DX12 patch for The Witcher 3 and the PCARS dev said and I quote "PCARS loves DX12" so I'm quite looking forward to that

Far Cry 3 which I still haven't completed as it's still got a stutter problem, GPU utilization goes up and down dramatically within seconds, Played at max settings 4K, when it didn't stutter it ran quite nicely but it also happens with Far Cry 4, Gotta love Ubisoft XD

It's probably down to the engine.

Yeah you're right, Only happens with FC3+4, Intermittent stuttering, Very annoying and honestly stops me from playing the game as one second I can be running in 1 direction to or from enemies and the next I can be stuttering and then boom dead.

However even if it is an engine issue, they should have fixed it.. Or it could be a driver issue. But if it's FC3+4, using basically the same engine, it's probably not a driver issue considering nothing else is wrong.

I have not tried Far Cry 3 or many games on my pc since upgrading to Windows 10 but Elite is almost unplayable, with the stutter and frame drops that happen every couple of seconds.

Tried it on Windows 8.1 before upgrading and it was fine no stutter and no frame drops, but Windows 10 it's just full of it.

I noticed that both GPU's were dropping from 90%+ usage down to 5% to 45% usage on each and then back up.

Hoping nVidia get the drivers sorted.

It's probably down to the engine.

Its a driver thing with some of the newer cards imo. Both my 280X and 7870 ran/run the game flawlessly.

The art work, Textures, General graphics, Sound etc are frakkin amazing in this game.

This is my 2nd playthrough so I decided to use cheats for invisibility etc... so I could actually appreciate the environments without constantly looking at my scanner ^_^
