I haven't pre-ordered it yet as I do not have the cash due to moving in the next few weeks but I was pretty lucky in the proper open beta, Longest queue was around 20 minutes with only 2 disconnects :)

They have alot of work to do before release. Content creators are tearing the game apart with its bugs and imbalanced classes. I watched the into though.. very cool. The hellish gore, and demonic presence makes it worthy of the title Diablo. Almost feels like some 80s Hell Raiser type feel to it.
 
I played D3 an absolute ton, my account got banned when i hit world 1 on my witch doctor as i'd switched class from barb, they said i was a bot lol, I got my own back on them in the form of an email :D

To cut a long story short as it was a feedback email on my current account do you guys not have phones was my exact wording in that email as well as many other things and they have implemented a fair few of them in the mobile and D4 seems i hit a raw nerve lol I've never cheated in a game my whole life and never will, but it was simply that due to my illness and work history that i am able to stay awake for very long periods so it wasn't uncommon in truth most weeks for me to play for 50 hours at a time, kinda well known in small ways to the community for it, but there people were in and out of my game talking to me the whole time i was playing.

Some good and bad memorys relating to it all and some good friends all over the world, but i was pretty deverstated when i logged in one day to see it when i was dead against the people that bot'ed.

My feedback was partly me being very serious about my ideas and partly me trolling them at the same time, guess they didnt pick up on the difference :D

the community i was part of were great lots of fun times and laughs, they even paid for my copy that i have now, but it just wasn't the same as i was a loot hunter and so many of my perfect items were gone for different builds, i had no issue rolling all my gold to get perfect stats, so i know i will play D4 i just maybe enjoy it and move onwards rather than spend 1000's of hours again, thou some of my recent mmo's i've put a decent chunk into in the same way, for me if a game is good i'm happy to stick with it and bleed it dry for everything :D
 
The positive part is that the reviews state the story is amazing. It trumps the bland nonsense from D3. This one is much more immersive. Its just the gameplay needs a massive retuning.

Barbarians are able to nuke all enemies right now by just standing still and not attacking. Definately not intended.

Balance was always an issue in diablo, but i think it's more they need to rethink some of the stats and how they effect the styles of gameplay, as always it'll come later when they add take away rework things, it's like a melting pot of ideas until they then start forcing players into builds and a direction that they want, so expect nerfs and buffs on mass for months on end.

For me the worst thing they done in D3 was adding the necro such a OP build and the other thing was primals made it far too easy to get decent items took the fun out of the loot hunting, game went from being solid on it's release with items being super rare to gradually ending up as a candy simulator where legends drop on mass in a single map.

Yes it's possible work for haven holidays and night clubs and do all weekend shifts with much cellar work and you too can get no sleep easily, adding to that a near death experience at a car factory and you've got it made dice lol

You can kind of make it out on this and thanks to the monitors 1200 individual lighting zones, 1200+ nits etc... the portals and torches actually physically glow, Really cool stuff, Very much looking forward to it ^_^

Have you tried the Windows Game Bar thing, "Windows Key + G", I use it all the time for screenshots whilst using HDR.

Put's them in to a "Captures" folder by default in the "Videos" folder as part of the default Windows Music, Pictures, Videos, Documents etc.
 
This is not mine but I saw this on a Discord server I'm on, It's from the closed beta test of Dead Island 2, From what I gathered this was run at 4K max settings with a 4090, FPS counter is on the lower left, No RT FX were present and also no idea if any upscalers were used but it looks decent.

Man so excite !

It should run very well. It's been in dev hell for a decade or more, so it should be on an older engine. Which won't hurt it much, given the remastered versions of the originals still look amazing even by today's standards.


I will have the TV PC finished just in time, truly can't wait :D

Curb stomping here we come :D

122fps think meant top left :P

It looks alright shame not as open world thou but i'll give it a bash at some point.

Alien will give it a bash all week :P
 
well i like some of the traps, seems fun enough should at least be an average game, like you said it has been in hell a long time :P

mostly steam installed now, just working on the other launchers then i can get back to gaming fully, only downloaded 4TB last 2 weeks so maybe another 2TB to go lol
 
Pretty impressed with the performance in Spiderman Remastered considering it's 4K max settings, No DLSS, No frame generation AND using DLAA.
