I don't think it looks as old as BF2 by any means. I'll play it more later it's very eyecandy

1440p ultra with fsr seems fine to me, but yes one of the better games lately that sure do look nice, would be nice if AMD could put out a driver thou not had one since november due to the 7k series.

Just had to look at Hogwarts. The background is so nicely detailed it pulls you into the environment.

It's a night and day difference. I think glasses are in order. As someone who basically must have glasses to see, without them sure I can't tell a damn difference either, but when I'm wearing them it's akin to pre HD to 4k blue ray jumping from BF2 to Hogwarts

Nah, I see perfectly fine. Used to wear glasses all my life, then did eye operation so now see perfectly without them. So my sight isn't an issue at all

I think it's an matter of subjective essentially, I don't see the massive difference you guys apparently clearly sees. The same can be said for everything else in life, some people that are invested in one thing heavily, will probably see things an novice won't etc

My eyesight is proper crap these days. I would still take a good, playable, well made game over something akin to a polished poo, though.

Only looked at first class but needless to say the detail is very good, not sure myself what they are making or how accurate it is, but it sure looks nice it runs fine but i know my GPU is getting a little workout as the fans spin up, intresting to look around and the demo says half the ship and this is the final update to the demo.

I might be wrong but this could be a contender for game of the year, maybe i just liked the orginal a lot, but dam just go play the demo and enjoy it i'll not spoil.

im looking forward to Alan Wake 2. No release date, but confirmed to be 2023. If they made it VR friendly... i need to buy a defibrillator for when I have my repeated heart attacks! That or get a mini defib installed on my heart to jump start me.

This year is good for games for me so many i have needing to start so many coming while still having a backlog half a mile long nearing 1500 games on steam with about 20% completion rate it's disgusting lol

so erm this month resi 4 last of us, next few months another 6 i know and into the end of the year maybe 10 more so i'll be good for 5 years while building up a larger backlog

is reason for storage as i just want it all installed so when i play something it's ready to go even if i don't like it i can switch to something else easily.

My biggest hype and excitement has been probably one of the worst titles for 2023. Settler new allies is a total disaster. Its like its been dumbed down so that the complex resource management can be handled by an 8 yr old. I looked forward to that for years. Thankfully the close beta of Skull n bones was really good fun, and very well optimised as far as gfx go.

My backlog is increasing rapidly if I include some old games I never finished.

I did think about settlers but the last game like that i enjoyed was supreme commander 2 in terms of strategy games, still need to get into total war more have most all of them.

I think there will be a few duds or games that don't live upto things, but generally this year is better than the last 3, many games coming out and i think in the next 2 years were going to see some really next gen things around that time.

Street fighter 6 is an intrest to me now dead island 2 stalker 2 as well as others and some just slip my mind atm alan wake 2 thou i hope they don't change it too much the first was such a nice game

I hope Alan Wake 2 is more Alan Wake than the (quite frankly) really weird DLC.

Had to take a pic with my phone due to taking a screenie in Windows with HDR on it blows the image out but the HDR in Diablo 4 is gorgeous !

You can kind of make it out on this and thanks to the monitors 1200 individual lighting zones, 1200+ nits etc... the portals and torches actually physically glow, Really cool stuff, Very much looking forward to it ^_^

I would have liked to play it but i didnt pre order and given the short time they did in open and how busy the servers were going to be i skipped it, most likely going to wait not going through a day 1 or even week like last time, plus i only had around 25000 hours in diablo 3 so I'll get plenty of time to play it
