The thing is, most people don't compare like for like. They will compare a Intel Bad Axe 975 vs a Gigabyte DS3 or something.
Kemp has tested a 965 and 975 board from abit and found no difference worth talking about. Same situation as when me and Kemp compared our Asus P5B and P5W against eachother.
Both chipsets have similar overclocking potential, but there seems to be a few more boards on the 965 chipset at the moment capable of the higher FSB's without mods.
